Osteonecrosis of the femoral head is a multifactorial disease that can result in significant clinical morbidity and affects patients of any age, including young and active patients. Late sequelae of femoral head osteonecrosis include femoral head collapse and subsequent degeneration of the hip joint. A high index of suspicion and improved radiographic evaluation allow orthopedic surgeons to identify this disease at an earlier stage. Current management options for hip osteonecrosis have results that vary according to patient population and disease stage. Modifications of older techniques, as well as emerging technologies, have led to the development of management strategies that may be able to alter the course of femoral head osteonecrosis.

Ligustilide, a phthalide compound extracted from Umbelliferae plants such as Angelica sinensis and Ligusticum chuanxiong, has been proven to possess various pharmacological activities, such as anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, anti-atherosclerosis, anti-ischemic stroke injury, and anti-Alzheimer's disease properties. In recent years, it has shown great potential, particularly in the treatment of locomotor system diseases. Studies have shown that ligustilide has significant therapeutic effects on various locomotor system diseases, including osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, femoral head necrosis, osteosarcoma, and muscle aging and injury.

Purpose: Our study aimed to present health-related quality of life (HRQL) after combined bone reconstruction in nonambulatory patients with cerebral palsy (CP) after at least a 2-year follow-up and to assess its impact on HRQL using the Caregiver Priorities and Child Health Index of Life with Disabilities questionnaire (CPCHILD) as the primary outcome measure.
Methods: In this prospective study, we analyzed 31 nonambulatory patients with spastic or mixed CP (GMFCS levels IV-V) who underwent hip reconstructive surgery between 2015 and 2021. The surgical procedures included one-sided varus derotation osteotomy of the femur with Dega transiliac osteotomy and, on the opposite side, varus derotation osteotomy (VDRO) of the femur with shortening and, as needed, Dega pelvic osteotomy.

Introduction: Aneurysmal Bone Cyst (ABC) is a benign, non neoplastic, expansile lesion of bone characterized by channels of blood and spaces separated by fibrous septae. ABC of femoral head is an extremely rare condition and is difficult to treat as the surgical approach is a dilemma .
Case Report: We hereby report a case of aneurysmal bone cyst in femoral head of a 19 year old female patient.

Introduction: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection or corticosteroid usage during the COVID-19 pandemic as risk factors for avascular necrosis (AVN) of the femoral head (osteonecrosis of the femoral head/femoral head AVN [FHAVN]), as well as its link to clinical and radiological outcomes, are poorly understood. Osteonecrosis, which results from a disruption in vascular supply to the femoral head, is a prevalent cause of hip joint deterioration and one of the most common reasons for total hip arthroplasty (THA)/total hip replacement in India and other Asian countries. This study will aid in understanding the condition's epidemiology and statistically determining the risk of disease related with pandemic exposure.

: Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease (LCPD) is characterized by idiopathic avascular necrosis of the femoral head in children. There are several hypotheses regarding the cause of LCPD; however, the exact cause remains unclear. Studies on comorbidities can provide better insight into the disease.
