The ancient Japanese bone-setting therapy originated from the ancient Chinese bone-setting therapy. This paper gave an introduction to three works published in Edo-period of Japan. Each of them has been regarded as the cornerstone of the Japanese bone-setting therapy: KOUSHI Houyoku Honetsugiryojichouhouki (1746), YOSHIHARA Motomune Kyoinsaiseikotsuyouketsu (1789-1800) and NINOMIYA Genka Seikotsuhan (1808). This article also discussed the academic relationship between these three works and the ancient Chinese bone-setting therapy.
