Constrained enantiopure bicyclic β-amino acids derived from the asymmetric Diels-Alder reaction of the (R)-benzyl-4-(3-acryloyloxy-4,4-dimethyl-2-oxopyrrolidin-1-yl)-benzoate and the 1-(benzyloxycarbonylamino)cyclohexadiene provide original templates for the construction of new rigid enantiopure 1,3-amino alcohols.

To detect the differences in types and levels of amino acids in the peripheral serum of patients with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and non-tumor patients, and explore their relationship with clinical parameters of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma as well as their clinical value in diagnosis. High-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(HPLC-MS) was employed to detect the serum amino acid contents and levels of 62 patients diagnosed with laryngeal carcinoma and 141 non-tumor patients at the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University between September 2018 and February 2021. The study compared the differences in 22 non-essential and essential amino acids found in the serum between the experimental group and the control group.

Neurotensin (NT) is a 13-amino acid neuropeptide widely distributed in the CNS that has been involved in the pathophysiology of many neural and psychiatric disorders. There are three known neurotensin receptors (NTSRs), which mediate multiple actions, and form the neurotensinergic system in conjunction with NT. NTSR1 is the main mediator of NT, displaying effects in both the CNS and the periphery, while NTSR2 is mainly expressed in the brain and NTSR3 has a broader expression pattern.

L. (black chokeberry), belonging to the Rosaceae family, contains high amounts of polyphenolics and therefore exhibits one of the highest antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities among berry fruits. Chokeberries are used in the food industry for juice, nectar, and wine production and as colorants.

Laboratory for Aroma Analysis and Enology, Instituto Agroalimentario de Aragón (IA2-Unizar-CITA), Department of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences, Universidad de Zaragoza, 50009 Zaragoza, Spain.

The aim of this article was to assess the influence of the harvest date on the composition of amino acids and derived aromatic compounds in grape- and wine of the Moristel variety, in different vineyards. Two vineyards were sampled in 2016 and another one in 2017. At each sampling point, grapes were collected, destemmed, crushed and divided into four aliquots.
