Exploiting biomimetic perception of invisible spectra in flexible artificial human vision systems (HVSs) is crucial for real-time dynamic information processing. Nevertheless, the fast processing of motion objects in natural environments poses a challenge, necessitating that these artificial HVSs simultaneously have swift photoresponse and nonvolatile memory. Here, inspired by the human retina, we propose a flexible UV neuromorphic visual synaptic device (NeuVSD) based on GaO@GaN-composited nanowires for dynamic visual perception.

Objective: To use bibliometric methods to analyze the prospects and development trends of artificial intelligence(AI) in oncology nursing from 1994 to 2024, providing guidance and reference for oncology nursing professionals and researchers.
Methods: The core set of the Web of Science database was searched for articles from 1994 to 2024. The R package "Bibliometrix" was used to analyze the main bibliometric features, creating a three-domain chart to display relationships among institutions, countries, and keywords.

Cataracts secondary to type 1 or type 2 diabetes are not uncommon in adults; however, they are a rare finding in pediatric patients with type 1 diabetes. A 15-year-old girl presented with progressively worsened bilateral vision for 6 months. Her vision rapidly deteriorated over the previous month, prompting further evaluation that found bilateral cataracts with haziness in all layers and swollen lenses.

Objectives: To develop a machine learning-based prediction model using clinical data from the first 24 h of ICU admission to enable rapid screening and early intervention for sepsis patients.
Methods: This multicenter retrospective cohort study analyzed electronic medical records of sepsis patients using machine learning methods. We evaluated model performance in predicting sepsis outcomes within the first 24 h of ICU admission across US and Chinese healthcare settings.

Intracellular monitoring of protein ubiquitination and differentiating polyubiquitin chain topology are crucial for understanding life processes and drug discovery, which is challenged by the high complexity of the ubiquitination process and a lack of molecular tools. Herein, a synthetic dual-sensor platform specific for K48-linked ubiquitin oligomers was tailored for visualization of polyubiquitin chain assembling in live biosystems. This is achieved using macrocyclic peptides as recognition motifs and a tetraphenylethylene derivative as an activatable reporter.
