Isolated gastric tuberculosis is a rare condition, even in those parts of the world where intestinal tuberculosis is common. Herein we describe a case of a thirty year old female patient with isolated gastric tuberculosis who presented with features of gastric outlet obstruction.

Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of prophylactic hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (P-HIPEC) in patients with locally advanced gastric cancer (AGC) after laparoscopic radical gastrectomy. Additionally, it explores how the frequency and timing of P-HIPEC influence treatment outcomes.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 227 patients with locally AGC who underwent laparoscopic surgery at Maoming People's Hospital from January 2016 to December 2022.

The ethanol-induced BALB/c mice and human gastric epithelial cell (Ges-1 cell) models were used to investigate the Sargassum siliquastrum fucoidan (SFuc) gastroprotective capability. The injury score and histopathological sections of the stomach were used to evaluate the gastroprotective capability.
