Purpose: There are no universally established guidelines for material selection in orbital wall fracture reconstruction. With an increasing preference for permanent implants, this study aimed to compare the long-term clinical outcomes of three different non-resorbable materials in reconstructing isolated orbital floor fractures.
Design: A retrospective, interventional comparative study.

Objectives: To address the lack of nerve and blood supply after labial salivary gland transplantation (LSGT) resulting in glandular atrophy. We designed a modified LSGT, called insular infraorbital neurovascular pedicle LSGT, and evaluated the postoperative efficacy.
Design: This is a prospective, single-centre, self-contained study.

Introduction: The aim of this study was to evaluate the long-term treatment outcomes of basal implants in patients with severely resorbed ridges, including the survival and success rates, patient complaints, satisfaction, and Quality of Life.
Evidence Acquisition: An extensive electronic search was conducted on the search engines: PubMed, Web of Science, and Google Scholar using Boolean Operators (AND, OR, NOT) and the key words (basal implants, Corticobasal implants, Strategic Implants, severely resorbed ridge, severely atrophic ridge, treatment outcome, patient satisfaction) within the last 10 years.
Evidence Synthesis: A total of 21 articles were found, encompassing 9732 basal implants placed in 1219 patients.

Implanting heteroatoms into organic π-conjugated molecules (OCMS) offered a great opportunity to fine-tune the chemical structures and optoelectronic properties. This work describes a new family of 1,4-azaphosphinines with extended σ-π hyperconjugations. The photophysical studies revealed that azaphosphinines exhibited narrow-band thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) ( full width at half-maximum: 26-40 nm).

This study aims to evaluate and compare the usability and performance of mixed reality (MR) technology versus conventional methods for preoperative planning of patient-specific reconstruction plates for orbital fractures. A crossover study design was used to compare MR technology with conventional three-dimensional (3D) printing approaches in the planning of maxillofacial traumatology treatments. The primary focus was on user-friendliness and the accuracy of patient-specific reconstruction planning.
