RLIP76 (also known as RalBP1) is an effector for Ral small G proteins. RLIP76 is a multifunctional, multi-domain protein that includes a GTPase activating domain for the Rho family (RhoGAP domain) and a GTPase binding domain (GBD) for the Ral small G proteins. The juxtaposition of these two domains (GAP and GBD) may be a strategy employed to co-ordinate regulation of Rho family and Ral-controlled signalling pathways at a crossover node. Here we present the (1)H, (15)N and (13)C NMR backbone and sidechain resonance assignments of the GAP and GBD di-domain (31 kDa).

The Cotswold modifications provide guidelines for the use of CT and MRI. An emulsion of silicone oil droplets in aqueous buffer produces a distinctive series of peaks or resonances in the side scatter histogram in a flow cytometer. As many as 12 peaks are observed in the violet-side scatter channel at 405 nm, with half that number observed in the blue side scatter channel at 488 nm. Using the index of refraction of the oil and buffer, the wavelength of light, and the collection angle and gain of the instrument, we assign the peaks to specific diameters at which Mie resonances occur.

Background: In the DISCOMS (DISCOntinuation of disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) in multiple sclerosis (MS)) randomized clinical trial, we could not demonstrate that discontinuing MS DMTs in older, stable adults was not inferior to continuing DMTs. Relapses were rare in both groups, and most new disease activity was one to two new brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) lesions unassociated with clinical changes.
