While the skin is a common target organ for sarcoidosis, cutaneous granulomatous vasculitis is rare among patients with sarcoidosis. Due to the lack of detailed studies on cutaneous sarcoid vasculitis, both dermatologists and pathologists remain unfamiliar with this rare but important vasculitic disorder. We clinicopathologically evaluated eight cases with biopsy-proven cutaneous vasculitis and cutaneous sarcoidosis and analyzed morphologic changes in the process of vasculitis for both small vessels and muscular vessels in detail.

At present, there are no standardized guidelines for determining patient eligibility for pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) clinical trials. In accordance with recent therapeutic progress of immune checkpoint inhibitors for certain cancers, various disorders are induced as immune-related adverse events (irAEs) affecting the skin, gut, thyroid gland, lung, and liver. Among such irAEs, mucocutaneous manifestation is the most common. Cutaneous manifestations are categorized into several groups, ie, inflammatory reactions, immunobullous reactions, alterations of epidermal keratinocytes, and alterations of epidermal melanocytes; however, there are additionally various cutaneous toxicities, unclassified into those groups.
