Here, we investigated the humoral, regulatory and sublingual tissue immune response to prophylactic SLIT administration of a single purified peanut allergen in Brown Norway (BN) rats. To investigate the short-term effectiveness and safety of sublingual allergen immunotherapy with allergen sprays (SLIT-sprays) in Chinese patients with allergic rhinitis (AR) with or without asthma using real-world data. The retrospective cohort study included 100 patients who received SLIT-sprays in the ENT departments in Hainan Shulan (Boao) Hospital and Boao Super Hospital between October 2023 and August 2024. A questionnaire survey was conducted to collect clinical data on the effectiveness and safety of SLIT-sprays, examining the types and incidence of adverse events (AEs) during treatment, treatments after the occurrence of AEs, and changes in Visual Analog Scale (VAS) scores before and after SLIT-sprays.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to compare the accuracy and agreement in nuclear cataract opacity classification between the Smart Eye Camera (SEC) device, and the slit-lamp. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted with a convenient sampling of 221 eyes from 139 patients with phakic eyes, visiting IVISION Eye Center, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from November 1, 2023, to April 30, 2024. Two grading systems, Lucio-Buratto (Buratto) and World Health Organization (WHO), were used to compare the effectiveness of the two devices, with statistical analysis using Spearman's correlation coefficient and Cohen's kappa to evaluate the agreement level.
