Background: The Global Burden of Diseases, Injuries, and Risk Factors Study (GBD) 2021 provides a comprehensive assessment of health and risk factor trends at global, regional, national, and subnational levels. This study aims to examine the burden of diseases, injuries, and risk factors in the USA and highlight the disparities in health outcomes across different states.
Methods: GBD 2021 analysed trends in mortality, morbidity, and disability for 371 diseases and injuries and 88 risk factors in the USA between 1990 and 2021.

Background: Mongolia introduced liver transplantation 10 years ago, becoming the 46th country globally to successfully perform this procedure. However, the cost of liver transplantation treatment remains expensive in Mongolia, a lower-middle-income country. Thus, the need to calculate the cost of liver transplants, a highly-valued treatment, forms the basis for this study.

Nucleophosmin (NPM1) is the 46th most abundant human protein with many functions whose dysregulation leads to various cancers. Pentameric NPM1 resides in the nucleolus but can also shuttle to the cytosol. This study used longitudinal data to verify the mediating effects of depression and social withdrawal on the impacts of neglectful and intrusive parenting behavior on adolescents' interpersonal relationships with peers and teachers in school. We used data from the Korea Children and Youth Panel Survey's (KCYPS, 2010) 4-6th waves, which followed fourth graders across Korea. To analyze the data, we conducted a descriptive analysis, bivariate correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling.
