Low-grade myofibroblastic sarcoma (LGMFS) is a fusiform cell tumor which develops in bone or soft tissues. This type of tumor frequently occurs in the oral cavity and extremities, while it is extremely rarely found in the abdominal cavity. This article reports a case of LGMFS exceeding 20 cm in diameter in the abdominal cavity observed in a 65-year-old male patient. The patient visited our hospital complaining of a heavy feeling of the stomach and abdominal distension. Imaging examinations revealed a giant solid tumor in the abdomen, and surgical treatment was scheduled. During the operation, a tumor about 20 cm in diameter with its anterior aspect covered with the greater omentum was found. The tumor had firm adhesions to the surrounding tissues, and it was excised with concomitant resections of the tail of the pancreas and the spleen. Histopathologically, fusiform cells were arranged in a complicated or storiform pattern, and immunohistochemical staining revealed that the tumor was positive for α-smooth muscle actin, negative for S100β, H-caldesmon and c-KIT, and a diagnosis of LGMFS was made.

Introduction: Accessory spleens are a common anatomical variant, consisting of ectopic splenic tissue present in different locations in the peritoneal cavity. Typically asymptomatic, the presence of these tissue grows to be of clinical importance when complicated by infarction, rupture, or torsion.
Presentation Of Case: We report the case of a 36-year-old female that presented to the Emergency Department for diffuse abdominal pain and was found to have a partially ruptured splenule secondary to a venous infarct on abdominal computed tomography scan.

Pneumoperitoneum, or free air in the peritoneal cavity, typically indicates visceral organ perforation requiring urgent surgical intervention. In peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients, however, it can occur without prior surgery or trauma, often due to technical errors, and may mimic peritonitis, risking misdiagnosis and unnecessary treatment. We report a case of a 73-year-old male PD patient presenting with fever, abdominal pain, and bowel ileus, initially raising concerns for organ perforation due to pneumoperitoneum.

Background: Generalized lymphatic anomaly (GLA) is a rare congenital lymphatic malformation (LM) characterized by multiple infiltrating lymphangiomas in various tissues. Owing to its rarity, information on this disease is obtained mainly through case reports, leading to delayed diagnosis. In this study, we reported a case of generalized lymphatic anomaly in a pediatric patient manifesting as hemorrhagic pleural effusion.

A 12 yr old female spayed American Staffordshire terrier was referred for stranguria, pollakiuria, and concern for a mass in the trigone of the urinary bladder. A urinalysis and abdominal ultrasound were performed to further investigate the bladder mass. Nematode larvae were identified in the urine, termed microfilaruria, while a caudal abdominal mass was found on ultrasound impinging on the urethra.
