Chalcone synthase (CHS), the first key structural enzyme in the flavonoid biosynthesis pathway, plays a crucial role in regulating plant responses to abiotic stresses and hormone signaling. However, its molecular functions remain largely unknown in , which is one of the most economically and ecologically important bamboo species and the most widely distributed one in China. This study identified 17 genes in and classified them into seven subgroups, showing a closer evolutionary relationship to genes from rice.

The ruins of the Imperial City of the Minyue Kingdom were an important site of the Minyue Kingdom during the Han Dynasty. Characteristic bronze arrowheads unearthed from the East Gate, with their exquisite craftsmanship, provide important physical evidence for studying ancient bronze casting technology and the military activities of that time. However, there is still a lack of systematic research on the alloy composition, casting process, and chemical stability of these arrowheads in long-term burial environments.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the potential of chemical modification to improve the hydrophobic properties and thermal stability of bamboo fibers and to evaluate the sound absorption performance of raw and modified fibers. To achieve this goal, bamboo fibers were modified using stearic acid coatings and aluminum hydroxide nanoparticles. The results showed that the modification of fibers with stearic acid (STA) can improve the contact angle and hydrophobicity of bamboo fibers, so that for modified fibers with a concentration of 0.

Chitosan (CS) based sponge shows important potential applications in adsorption, filtration, sensing, etc., which often requires good deformation-recovery ability that is usually achieved under the help of silane elastomers. Herein, a simple but innovative strategy was proposed that only bamboo activated carbon (BAC) was employed as the reinforcer to construct highly elastic phosphorylated chitosan (P-CS) sponge with through-hole structure like layer-support by freeze drying.
