Whereas CAA, primarily leptomeningeal, is a frequent complication in hereditary transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis (TTRCA), it is unusually reported in association with wild-type TTR, with or without polyneuropathy. The knowledge of mixed dementia and wild-type TTR association is even scarcer.
