A new homoleptic sublimable indium(III) guanidinate, (In[(N(i)Pr)(2)CNMe(2)](3) (1), was synthesized from a facile high-yield procedure. Compound 1 crystallized is a P1 space group; a = 10.5989(14) Å, b = 11.0030(15) Å, c = 16.273(2) Å, α = 91.190(2)°, β = 96.561(2)°, γ = 115.555(2)°; R = 3.50%. Thermogravimetric analysis showed 1 to produce elemental indium as a residual mass. Thermolysis in a sealed NMR tube showed carbodiimide and protonated dimethyl amine by (1)H NMR. Chemical vapour deposition experiments above 275 °C with air as the reactant gas showed 1 to readily deposit cubic indium oxide with good transparency.

The properties and device applications of 2D semiconductors are highly sensitive to intrinsic structural defects due to their ultrathin nature. CuInSe (CIS) materials own excellent optoelectronic properties and ordered copper vacancies, making them widely applicable in photovoltaic and photodetection fields. However, the synthesis of 2D CIS nanoflakes remains challenging due to the nonlayered structure, multielement composition, and the competitive growth of various by-products, which further hinders the exploration of vacancy-related optoelectronic devices.

Central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) is a known side effect of systemic steroid therapy. The role of intravitreal steroids in causing CSC is controversial. We present two cases of acute CSC that developed after intravitreal steroid injections.

Electronic address:
The catalytic degradation of malodorous sulfur-containing volatile organic compounds (S-VOCs), especially methanethiol (CHSH), faces an enormous challenge in striking a balance between activity and stability. Herein, we develop the time-tandem and spatial-extended strategy for synthesizing t-MoO/meso-SiO nano-reactor-type catalysts and reveal the migration and transformation behaviors of both carbon and sulfur species at the mesoscopic scale to break the catalytic CHSH activity and stability trade-off. The dynamic evolution of active centers from initial oxygen sites and acid sites to sulfur vacancies in MoS during the reaction process as well as the formation of a new dimethyl disulfide (CHSSCH) reaction pathway are identified as the main reason for the catalysts' superior activity and sulfur resistance.

Self-assembled DNA origami lattices on silicon oxide surfaces have great potential to serve as masks in molecular lithography. However, silicon oxide surfaces come in many different forms and the type and history of the silicon oxide has a large effect on its physicochemical surface properties. Therefore, we here investigate DNA origami lattice formation on differently fabricated SiOx films on silicon wafers after wet-chemical oxidation by RCA1.
