Introduction: The objective of the present study was to improve the anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activities of mastic gum resin (MGR). MGR was loaded into a phospholipid nanocarrier with or without partially hydrolyzed ginsenoside, followed by dispersion into distilled water.
Method: The phospholipid nanocarrier dispersion showed significantly enhanced in-vitro release, porcine skin/ intestine permeation, and retention.

Aim: Development and optimization of raloxifene hydrochloride loaded lipid nanocapsule hydrogel for transdermal delivery.
Method: A 3 Box-Behnken Design and numerical optimization was performed to obtain the optimized formulation. Subsequently, the optimized raloxifene hydrochloride loaded lipid nanocapsule was developed using phase inversion temperature and characterized for physicochemical properties.

Background: Patients with symptomatic breast hypertrophy typically suffer from chronic back pain, recurrent skin irritation at the inframammary fold and/or low self-esteem resulting in impaired quality of life. Reduction mammaplasty has been shown to effectively treat symptomatic breast hypertrophy with high patient satisfaction. Despite the obvious benefits, reimbursement requests for reduction mammaplasty are initially often refused by the patient's health insurance company, thereby frequently resulting in additional examinations and eventually extra expenses.

The Janus kinase inhibitor tofacitinib (TOF) is an FDA-approved drug for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) treatment, but its long-term oral use leads to significant systemic side effects. The present research aimed to conquer these challenges by formulating hyaluronic-acid-coated transethosomes (HA-TOF-TE), a novel system for targeted, topical delivery of TOF to reduce systemic toxicity and improve therapeutic efficacy. Transethosomes were synthesized via the cold sonication technique with HA functionalization enabling CD44 receptor-mediated targeting of inflamed synovial tissue.

Tear trough deformity (TTD) is a significant cosmetic concern, with current treatments relying primarily on invasive injectable fillers, which are costly and carry risks of complications. Despite the widespread use of hyaluronic acid (HA) in cosmetic applications, its poor dermal permeation has limited the development of effective topical fillers for TTD.This study aim to develop and evaluate a novel hyaluronic acid nanogel (nanofiller, NF) as a non-invasive topical filler for TTD.
