Eosinophilic gastroenteritis (EGE) is an inflammatory disease characterized by a significant increase in eosinophils. EGE itself is rare, and cases with clinical manifestations of hemorrhagic ascites are even rarer, which undoubtedly increases the risk of misdiagnosis.
