Chemical profiling of the southern Australian marine alga Laurencia elata (Rhodomelaceae) employing on-flow and stop-flow HPLC-NMR methodology followed by off-line chemical investigations resulted in the isolation of two C16 chamigrenes, cycloelatanene A and B together with three previously reported sesquiterpenes, (3Z)-chlorofucin, pacifenol and elatenyne. The chemical structures were elucidated via detailed spectroscopic analyses.

Experiencing side effects when wearing N95/P2 masks has negative impacts on health workers and increases exposure to pathogens. While side effects of wearing P2/N95 masks have been reported previously, these masks have never been used as widely as during the COVID-19 pandemic. This review of telehealth research describes the landscape of Australian digital health and telehealth research from 1999 to 2022, focusing on outlining past, present and future trends. A scoping review was conducted using the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology and PRISMA extension for scoping reviews framework, which identified 495 primary research studies of digital or telehealth interventions aimed at improving health outcomes. Data were charted according to technological modality, health focus, professional representation, participant location, year and size.
