Ore sample, pretreated at 650 degrees C, was decomposed with aqua regia. Gold in the sample solution was then pre-concentrated by adsorbing with polyurethane foam plastic, released with thiourea solution, and determined by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry and flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Based on the characteristic of the copper matte and sinter containing copper, the effects of sample dissolving condition, matrix effect and interference of coexisting elements were investigated. The accuracy, precision and detection limit were discussed. The results of test show that both of the two methods were suitable for determining the contents of gold in copper matte and sintered copper material.

Addressing the issues of low prediction accuracy and poor interpretability in traditional matte grade prediction models, which rely on pre-smelting input and assay data for regression, we incorporate process sensors' data and propose a temporal network based on Time to Vector (Time2Vec) and temporal convolutional network combined with temporal multi-head attention (TCN-TMHA) to tackle the weak temporal characteristics and uncertain periodic information in the copper smelting process. Firstly, we employed the maximum information coefficient (MIC) criterion to select temporal process sensors' data strongly correlated with matte grade. Secondly, we used a Time2Vec module to extract periodic information from the copper smelting process variables, incorporates time series processing directly into the prediction model.

The smelting processes account for over 80 % of global copper production, generating various slags in large quantities. Most of these slags do not contain the required amounts of valuable metals to justify economic revalorization, yet the concentrations present may negatively affect the environment. In this study, heavy and potentially toxic metals were removed by keeping the liquefied slag at 1300 °C for four hours, while the metals gathering was enhanced by adding silicon-copper compounds.

Twenty-six nulliparous sows were fed conventional gestation and lactation diets supplemented ( = 13) or not ( = 13) with extra daily supplements of 25-hydroxy-cholecalciferol (25-OH-D3; 4 ĸIU), β-carotene (24 ĸIU), and copper ()-proteinate (45 mg) from day 90 of gestation to 21 d of lactation (). In each litter, 10 piglets were divided into 5 pairs received, at 2 () and 8 d () of age, one of the five combinations of micronutrient sources and routes of administration ( = 260 piglets total). These neonatal treatments (= 26 pairs or 52 piglets each) consisted of oral vitamin D3, retinol acetate and CuSO (); oral 25-OH-D3, β-carotene, and Cu proteinate (); exposure to ultraviolet light (), oral retinol palmitate and Cu gluconate (); intramuscular vitamin D3 and retinyl propionate and oral Cu acetate (); oral saline ().
