Fifteen cases of chondroid syringoma have been studied histologically and by immunohistochemical methods in an attempt to establish their phenotypic profile and to elucidate their histogenesis. The epithelial elements were classified as tubuloglandular, solid nests and stromal cells. The inner cell layers of tubuloglandular components had distinct epithelial features, expressing cytokeratin, carcino-embryonic antigen and epithelial membrane antigen. The outer cell layers expressed vimentin, S-100 protein, neuron-specific enolase and muscle-specific actin and were negative for epithelial markers. The immunophenotypes of stromal cells and solid nests were similar to those of the outer cell layers. These data suggest that the stromal components may derive from the outer cell of tubuloglandular elements and that myo-epithelial cells have an important role in the histogenesis of these lesions and in their mesenchymal matrix production.

Leukemia is one of the most common cancers in prepubertal girls and adolescents, with advances improving survival rates. However, treatments like chemotherapy and radiation are highly gonadotoxic, often causing ovarian insufficiency, early menopause, infertility, and endocrine disorders. Fertility preservation for young female cancer patients, especially prepubertal girls without mature germ cells, relies heavily on ovarian tissue cryopreservation.

In the cytoplasm, acetyl-CoA is mainly produced by ATP-citrate lyase (ACL), which is composed of ACLA and ACLB subunits. In this study, we isolated the restorer-4 (res4) of the thermosensitive genic male sterile mutant reversible male sterile-2 (rvms-2) in Arabidopsis (Arabidopsis thaliana).

Transparent solar cells maximize installation space by being applicable to glass areas such as building windows and sunroofs, necessitating high power conversion efficiency (PCE), long-term stability, and aesthetic appeal. This study demonstrates the development of transparent crystalline silicon (c-Si) solar cells that exhibit vivid colors, enhanced PCE, and long-term stability. To achieve vivid coloration, a metal-oxide-based color filter with a single metal layer and TiO thin films, which show high transmittance, is integrated into the neutral-colored transparent c-Si solar cells.

Chemotherapy agents, like paclitaxel (PTX), damage the somatosensory nervous system by inducing neuroinflammation and oxidative stress, resulting in the sensitization of sensory neurons. Quercetin (QCT), known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and neuroprotective properties, is investigated for various neurological disorders.

Oligomerized electron acceptors, featuring molecular weights akin to polymers and well-defined chemical structures, have emerged as promising candidates for organic solar cells (OSCs) due to their consistent batch-to-batch reproducibility and improved thermal stability. In this study, we developed a series of oligomerized electron acceptors incorporating alkynyl linkages via an efficient Sonogashira coupling reaction between alkyne-substituted Y-type precursors and multi-substituted iodobenzenes. This method produced monomeric (S-Alkyne-YF), dimeric (D-Alkyne-YF), and trimeric (T-Alkyne-YF) configurations, enabling systematic control over molecular size and substituent arms.
