We used the IMNpRH2(12,000-rad) RH and IMpRH(7,000-rad) panels to integrate 2019 transcriptome (RNA-seq)-generated contigs with markers from the porcine genetic and radiation hybrid (RH) maps and bacterial artificial chromosome finger-printed contigs, into 1) parallel framework maps (LOD ≥ 10) on both panels for swine chromosome (SSC) 4, and 2) a high-resolution comparative map of SSC4, thus and human chromosomes (HSA) 1 and 8. A total of 573 loci were anchored and ordered on SSC4 closing gaps identified in the porcine sequence assembly Sscrofa9. Alignment of the SSC4 RH with the genetic map identified five microsatellites incorrectly mapped around the centromeric region in the genetic map. Further alignment of the RH and comparative maps with the genome sequence identified four additional regions of discrepancy that are also suggestive of errors in assembly, three of which were resolved through conserved synteny with blocks on HSA1 and HSA8.

Introduction: Bipolar disorder (BD) and major depressive disorder (MDD) have overlapping clinical presentations which may make it difficult for clinicians to distinguish them potentially resulting in misdiagnosis. This study combined structural MRI and machine learning techniques to determine whether regional morphological differences could distinguish patients with BD and MDD.
Methods: A total of 123 participants, including BD (n = 31), MDD (n = 48), and healthy controls (HC, n = 44), underwent high-resolution 3D T1-weighted imaging.

Purpose: This study proposes a novel, contrast-free Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (MRF) method using balanced Steady-State Free Precession (bSSFP) sequences for the quantification of cerebral blood volume (CBV), vessel radius (R), and relaxometry parameters (T , T , T *) in the brain.
Methods: The technique leverages the sensitivity of bSSFP sequences to intra-voxel frequency distributions in both transient and steady-state regimes. A dictionary-matching process is employed, using simulations of realistic mouse microvascular networks to generate the MRF dictionary.

Purpose: The aim of the work is to develop a cascaded diffusion-based super-resolution model for low-resolution (LR) MR tagging acquisitions, which is integrated with parallel imaging to achieve highly accelerated MR tagging while enhancing the tag grid quality of low-resolution images.
Methods: We introduced TagGen, a diffusion-based conditional generative model that uses low-resolution MR tagging images as guidance to generate corresponding high-resolution tagging images. The model was developed on 50 patients with long-axis-view, high-resolution tagging acquisitions.

To enhance high-frequency perceptual information and texture details in remote sensing images and address the challenges of super-resolution reconstruction algorithms during training, particularly the issue of missing details, this paper proposes an improved remote sensing image super-resolution reconstruction model. The generator network of the model employs multi-scale convolutional kernels to extract image features and utilizes a multi-head self-attention mechanism to dynamically fuse these features, significantly improving the ability to capture both fine details and global information in remote sensing images. Additionally, the model introduces a multi-stage Hybrid Transformer structure, which processes features at different resolutions progressively, from low resolution to high resolution, substantially enhancing reconstruction quality and detail recovery.

We employed high-resolution fMRI to distinguish the impacts of anisometropia and strabismus amblyopia on the evoked ocular dominance (OD) response. Sixteen amblyopic participants (8 females) plus 8 individuals with normal vision (1 female), participated in this study for whom, we measured the difference between the response to stimulation of the two eyes, across areas V1-V4.In controls, the evoked OD response formed the expected striped pattern within V1.
