Background And Objective: Single-source domain generalization (SSDG) aims to generalize a deep learning (DL) model trained on one source dataset to multiple unseen datasets. This is important for the clinical applications of DL-based models to breast cancer screening, wherein a DL-based model is commonly developed in an institute and then tested in other institutes. One challenge of SSDG is to alleviate the domain shifts using only one domain dataset.

Teaching and learning are two sides of the same coin. Ayurveda, the ancient system of medicine that originated in India, has a long history of teaching and learning methods. Modern management has much to learn from ancient wisdoms. Management structures based on corporate trends were transferred from business to services such as healthcare to promote cost-efficiency and productivity. In this article, I argue that the short-term approach of corporate leaders being brought into healthcare for 'transformation' has led to a trail of service dismemberment with no discernible clinical gain for those we seek to serve.

Serum amyloid A (SAA) is a key biomarker for diagnosing inflammatory responses in diseases like influenza and COVID-19. An electrochemiluminescence (ECL) biosensor has been constructed for signal enhancement in SAA detection by encapsulating 4,4',4″,4‴-(1,3,6,8-pyrenetetrayl) tetrakis-benzoic acid (TBAPy) into liposomes. Such biomimetic encapsulation shields the biologically important membrane to avoid aggregation of TBAPy and prevents quenching.
