A highly sensitive and simple spectrofluorimetric method for the determination of rutin, based on its activated effect on a haemoglobin-catalysed reaction, was developed. Under optimum conditions, the concentration of rutin was linear, with decreased fluorescence (ΔF) of the system under optimal experimental conditions. The calibration graph was linear in the range 1.0 × 10(-7) -3.0 × 10(-5) mol/L, with a detection limit of 7.0 × 10(-8) mol/L. The relative standard deviation (RSD) was 3.26% for 11 determinations of 1.0 × 10(-5) mol/L. This method was used for the determination of rutin in pharmaceuticals with satisfactory results.

Three choline chloride (ChCl)-based deep eutectic solvents (DESs) as a new type of green solvents were used for the ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) of bioactive compounds from Mentha spicata L. DES containing ChCl and malonic acid (MalA) was selected as the most promising, providing a more effective extraction of antioxidants from spearmint. Response surface methodology (RSM) and a Box-Behnken design (BBD) with three variables, ChCl:MalA molar ratio, water content (WC) in DES, and extraction time (t), were implemented for optimizing the extraction conditions.

Liver fibrosis is a continuous wound-healing response to chronic injury caused by various chemical, virus, and pathological disorders; the lack of approved drugs or methods to reverse or prevent liver fibrosis makes it an interesting area of research. This study investigates the potential hepatoprotective effects of the phenolic extract of in rat's module of liver fibrosis. Liver fibrosis was induced by intraperitoneal injection of carbon tetrachloride (CCl) for six consecutive weeks; the butanol fraction of and silymarin was administered orally concurrently with CCl.

Introduction: In our quest to identify potent inhibitors against SARS-CoV-2, an extensive investigation was conducted for the binding and inhibitory efficacy of Rutin against nine SARS-CoV-2 proteins.
Method: The first step of our analysis involved a comprehensive examination of structural similarity among the co-crystallized ligands associated with those proteins. A substantial structural similarity was observed between Rutin and Remdesivir, the ligand of the SARS-CoV-2 RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp).

Tribulus terrestris L. from the family of Zygophyllaceae, which is rich in saponin compounds, especially diosgenin, has various biological properties, such as anti-inflammation, anti-Alzheimer, anti-obesity, anti-diabetes, anti-leukemia, and anti-cancer activities, due to these compounds. This research aimed to study the diversity of agro-morphological and phytochemical traits and anti-proliferative activity against human prostate cancer cells (PC3) of T.
