The rhizome of possesses immense pharmaceutical properties like antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiapoptotic, anticancer activities. The foremost downside of herbal-based drugs is their poor bioavailability, to trounce this we synthesized a herbal based silver nanodrug with rhizome extract and assessed its effect against the cisplatin-induced nephrotoxicity in model. The biosynthesized silver nanoparticles (AG-AO) were characterized using UV-Spec, FTIR, XRD, TEM and SAED analysis.
