Background: Crouzon syndrome, a rare genetic disorder characterized by premature closure of coronal sutures, results in skull and facial deformities along with abnormal brain and ocular development.
Case Presentation: Here, we report a case of a 27-year-old ethnic han male patient who presented with complex binocular strabismus secondary to Crouzon syndrome. At the time of surgery, extraocular muscles were found to be fibrotic and results of the pathological examination revealed degeneration of muscle fibers, which were replaced by adipose tissue.

Background: Proptosis is a serious traumatic disease commonly affecting small breed dogs and possibly causing loss of vision, with globe replacement surgery (GRS) being essential in most of the cases after stabilizing the patient's condition.
Aim: To determine the common dog breeds and clinical findings associated with traumatic proptosis and demonstrate the short-term complications following GRS.
Methods: The study was performed on 15 client-owned small-breed dogs presented with unilateral traumatic proptosis.

Purpose: To detail surgical strategy and strabismus outcomes in a genetically defined cohort of patients with congenital fibrosis of the extraocular muscles (CFEOM).
Methods: A total of 13 patients with genetically confirmed CFEOM (via genetic testing for mutations in KIF21A, PHOX2A, and TUBB3) were retrospectively identified after undergoing strabismus surgery at Boston Children's Hospital and surgical outcomes were compared.
Results: Age at first surgery ranged from 11 months to 63 years, with an average of 3 strabismus procedures per patient.

Introduction: The treatment of strabismus associated with myopia is often a therapeutic challenge for the ophthalmologist. The strabismus associated with myopia has certain peculiarities and there are even certain types of strabismus that occur exclusively in myopia, such as strabismus fixus, requiring treatments with specific surgical techniques.
Materials And Methods: It is important to make a correct differential diagnosis, because there are many conditions described with this association.
