Introduction: Extreme beak calcaneal fractures (Type 2 Lee's tuberosity avulsion fractures) are rare injuries, accounting for only 1.3-3% of all calcaneal fractures. These injuries are considered as surgical emergency as they can lead to significant functional impairment and soft-tissue compromise if not promptly managed.

Quadruped robots possess significant mobility in complex and uneven terrains due to their outstanding stability and flexibility, making them highly suitable in rescue missions, environmental monitoring, and smart agriculture. With the increasing use of quadruped robots in more demanding scenarios, ensuring accurate and stable state estimation in complex environments has become particularly important. Existing state estimation algorithms relying on multi-sensor fusion, such as those using IMU, LiDAR, and visual data, often face challenges on non-stationary terrains due to issues like foot-end slippage or unstable contact, leading to significant state drift.

Introduction: Evaluations of clinical outcomes in service members with mild traumatic brain injury (TBI) sustained in combat have largely focused on neurobehavioral and somatic symptoms, neurocognitive functioning, and psychological/psychiatric health. Questions remain regarding other domains, such as gross or fine motor abilities, that could be impacted and are mission-critical to functional warfighters.
Materials And Methods: The objective of the current study was to evaluate longitudinal motor function in U.

Introduction: Despite stroke being a leading cause of death and disability in sub-Saharan Africa, stroke awareness remains a major hurdle to early stroke response and care in the region. To improve stroke awareness, we endeavoured to borrow a leaf from initiatives in high-income countries, beginning with the translation and dissemination of the acronym, FAST (Face, Arms, Speech, Time) to Swahili.
Methods: We formed a translation group consisting of two stroke physicians, one nurse and two professional translators, all native Swahili speakers.
