In this article, we propose a massively parallel, real-time algorithm for the estimation of the dynamic phase map of a vibrating object. The algorithm implements a Fourier-based quadrature transform and temporal phase unwrapping technique. CUDA, a graphic processing unit programming architecture was used to implement the algorithm. It was tested on a fringe pattern sequence using three devices with different capabilities, achieving a processing rate greater than 1600 frames per second (fps).

This paper examines the thermo-hydro-mechanical (THM) coupling behavior of layered transversely isotropic media under axisymmetric and plane strain conditions by utilizing the transformed differential quadrature method (TDQM), taking groundwater into consideration. Initially, the coupled governing equations of layered transversely isotropic media in multi-dimensional coordinate systems are established with considering the influence of groundwater levels. Subsequently, appropriate integral transform methods are applied to derive ordinary differential equations under different coordinate systems.

The development of numerous diseases, such as renal cyst, cancer, and viral infection, is closely associated with the pathological changes and defects in the cellular peripheral brush. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a potential new method to detect lesions of cellular peripheral brush. Here, a piecewise linear viscoelastic constitutive model of cell is established considering the joint contribution of the peripheral brush and intra-cellular structure.

The Wentzel, Kramers, and Brillouin (WKB) approximation of geometrical optics is widely used in plasma physics, quantum mechanics, and reduced wave modeling, in general. However, it is well-known that the approximation breaks down at focal and turning points. In this paper, we present an unsupervised numerical implementation of the recently developed metaplectic geometrical optics framework, which extends the applicability of geometrical optics beyond the limitations of WKB, such that the wave field remains finite at caustics.
