Objective: The objective of this article is to show the imaging features of radiation-associated sarcoma arising after radiation therapy using multiple imaging modalities.
Conclusion: A multimodality imaging strategy and collaboration between multidisciplinary teams are important for the management of radiation-associated sarcoma. Because radiation-associated sarcoma often displays locally aggressive behavior and may metastasize, resulting in a poor prognosis, it is important to consider this diagnosis in any patient previously treated with radiation therapy and to recognize the imaging findings.
