Unlabelled: The association of low back pain with physical workload in seated workstation related jobs has been debated and remains controversial. Clinical studies eliciting the natural history of the disease in this emerging population are insufficient to make definitive conclusions. We report four consecutive cases of patients suffering from low back pain presenting to a tertiary spine clinic with severe non-specific low back pain. Two patients as age-matched controls with persistent low back pain were followed for 6 months after receiving conventional treatment. In comparison, two test patients received parallel conventional treatment along with orthopaedic full spinal supports as an additional treatment modality. Outcomes analysed demonstrate the efficacy of orthopaedic full spinal supports for treating low back pain.
Trial Registration Number: NCT00553540.

Background: Low-value care refers to the provision of health services that confer little or no benefit to patients, or have the potential to incur unwarranted harms. A breadth of literature exists investigating geographical variations in rates of potential low-value interventions for musculoskeletal pain. This scoping review aimed to examine the provision of low-value care for osteoarthritis and lower back pain by degree of rurality (e.

Background: Agonistic monoclonal antibodies targeting 4-1BB/CD137 have shown preclinical promise, but their clinical development has been limited by severe liver toxicity or limited efficacy. Therefore, a safe and efficient immunostimulatory molecule is urgently needed for cancer immunotherapy.
Methods: A novel anti-MSLN×4-1BB bispecific antibody (bsAb) was generated via antibody engineering, and its affinity and activity were detected via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), flow cytometry, and T-cell activation and luciferase reporter assays.

Purpose: Evidence shows that patient outcomes following musculoskeletal injury have been associated with the timing of care. Despite the increasing number of injured workers presenting with low back pain (LBP) in primary care, little is known about the factors that are associated with the timing of initial healthcare provider visits. This study investigated factors that are associated with the timing of initial workers' compensation (WC)-funded care provider visits for LBP claims.

Background And Objective: Fibromyalgia is a condition characterised by disabling levels of pain of varying intensity. Aerobic exercise may play a role in reducing pain in these patients. The aim of this review is to assess the dose of aerobic exercise needed, based on the frequency, intensity, type, time, volume and progression (FITT-VP) model, to obtain clinically relevant reductions in pain.

Background Context: Lumbar interbody fusion (LIF) is a common surgical intervention for treating lumbar degenerative disorders. Increasing demand has contributed to ever-increasing healthcare expenditure and economic burden. To address this, cost-utility analyses (CUAs) compare value in the context of patient outcomes.
