Occupational skin disorders, in particular inflammations, dryness and erythema, in 80% of cases affect the skin of hands. The most frequent diagnosis, in over 90% of cases of occupational skin diseases, points to an irritant or allergic contact dermatitis. Our aim was to study the prevalence of self-reported skin symptoms on hands and forearms in different populations. The study was conducted on 581 healthcare workers, 61 hair stylists, 149 beauticians, 90 food services workers, 90 cleaners, 181 metal factory workers and 69 textile workers. Healthcare workers had greatest exposure. Eighty-six percent of dentists, 67% of midwives, 51% of nurses and 41% of physicians reported skin disorders. Problems with latex gloves were declared by 30% of healthcare workers. Thirty-four percent of food services workers, 24% of textile workers, 30% of metal factory workers, 21% of hair stylists and beauticians, and 64% of cleaners reported skin manifestations during the time of employment, which they thought could be work-related.

The implementation of the Transsexualizing Process (TP) / Gender-affirming Surgeries (GAS) in the Unified Health System (SUS) was the result of social struggles by the LGBT community for sexual rights, the construction of gender identity, and bodily autonomy. The scope of this article is to analyze the advances and challenges of TP/GAS in the SUS, through a qualitative narrative literature review. In June 2022, searches were conducted in the Google Scholar, SciELO, and VHL databases to select scientific articles in Portuguese published in the last 10 years, excluding articles in foreign languages and other types of academic work such as reviews, undergraduate theses, dissertations, and/or graduate theses.

The scope of this article is to analyze the temporal trend and macro-regional distribution of the options on offer in terms of collective activities of bodily practices and physical activities (BPPA) and the number of participants in primary health care, developed by all health professionals and by Physical Education Professionals in Brazil. It involved an ecological time-series study, using data from the Health Information System for Primary Health Care (Sisab) between 2014 and 2022, which was assessed using regression analysis and Joinpoint software. At the national level, the results revealed an increase in the number of collective BPPA activities and participants in primary health care developed by all health professionals and by Physical Education Professionals between 2014 and 2019, followed by a reduction in both in 2020.
