The introduction of high-performance TLC (HPTLC) instrumentation that allows precise control of critical parameters has transformed the technique into an efficient and rapid tool for analyzing various metabolites, namely lipids. Although mass spectrometry (MS) has largely replaced lipid analysis techniques over recent decades due to its comprehensive lipidome profiling capabilities, it typically lacks the rapidity and simplicity of TLC. HPTLC remains advantageous due to its ease of use, simpler data interpretation, and compatibility with complementary techniques.

Introduction: Supracondylar fractures in children often result in malunion and subsequent cubitus varus or valgus deformity. While often considered cosmetic, these deformities can lead to pain, functional impairment, and other complications. Corrective osteotomy is a common treatment option, with step-cut osteotomy being a preferred method due to its effectiveness and relative simplicity.

The commercialization of metasurfaces is crucial for real-world applications such as wearable sensors, pigment-free color pixels, and augmented and virtual reality devices. Nanoparticle-embedded resin-based nanoimprint lithography (PER-NIL) has shown itself to be a low-cost, high-throughput manufacturing method enabling the replication of high-index nanostructures. It has been extensively integrated into the fabrication of hologram metasurfaces, metalenses, and sensors due to its procedural simplicity.

An unprecedented formal [1+5] cyclization of indoline-derived azadienes with 1,3,5-triazinanes has been realized, providing a facile access to biologically important indoline-spiro-hexahydropyrimidines with good to excellent yields (up to 99 % yield). Different from previous reports, this is the first study that indoline-derived azadienes could participate in cyclizations as one-atom synthons. This methodology is also distinguished by not involving any additive or catalyst, readily available starting materials, wide range of substrate applicability, operational simplicity and simultaneously reassembling two C-N and two C-C bonds in one-step reaction.

Mass-spectrometry-based proteomics frequently utilizes label-free quantification strategies due to their cost-effectiveness, methodological simplicity, and capability to identify large numbers of proteins within a single analytical run. Despite these advantages, the prevalence of missing values (MV), which can impact up to 50% of the data matrix, poses a significant challenge by reducing the accuracy, reproducibility, and interpretability of the results. Consequently, effective handling of missing values is crucial for reliable quantitative analysis in proteomic studies.
