Understanding the molecular basis and cell mechanisms, clinical course, and treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCMP) has progressed substantially in the last decade. The majority of genetic mutations associated with HCMP occur in genes encoding sarcomeric proteins, which are expressed only in cardiomyocytes. The spectrum of morphological features of HCMP includes: hypertrophy of myocardium, myocardial disarray, interstitial fibrosis, mitral valve abnormalities, and microvascular remodeling, is indicative of the involvement of other cell lineages. The link between sarcomeric gene defects and these HCM phenotypes remains elusive. Based on novel insights provided by cardiac developmental biology we can create new effective methods of treatment of this complex disease.

Papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) is often characterized by indolent behavior, small tumors with slow cell proliferation and a tendency to metastasize to cervical lymph node simultaneously, and the molecular mechanisms underlying that remain poorly understood. In this study, FN1 was the hottest gene of PTC and distinctive expression in PTC cells. FN1 deficiency severely inhibited the p53 signaling pathway, especially cyclin proteins, resulting in increased cell growth but hampered invasion.

In this study, novel anion photo-responsive supramolecular hydrogels based on cysteine-silver sol (CSS) and iodate anions (IO) were prepared. The peculiarities of the self-assembly process of gel formation in the dark and under visible-light exposure were studied using a complex of modern physico-chemical methods of analysis, including viscosimetry, UV spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, electrophoretic light scattering, scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. In the dark phase, the formation of weak snot-like gels takes place in a quite narrow IO ion concentration range.

The aim of our work was study of second mesiobuccal canal in maxillary first molar and compare obtained data with literature sources for increasing the efficiency of treatment.
Materials And Methods: The study involved 59 patients with exacerbation of chronic pulpitis or chronic periodontitis who were distributed according to age: 14-20 years, 21-30 years and 31-40 years.

Cavitary sarcoidosis is a rare form and represents non-caseating granulomatous diseases of the lungs exhibiting a narrow range of differential diagnoses. The peculiarity of this case lies in the difficulty of distinguishing atypical manifestations of pulmonary sarcoidosis, such as cystic lesions, from cavernous tuberculosis. Both possess similar clinical and radiological features.
