Background: Alterations in sensory perception, a core phenotype of autism, are attributed to imbalanced integration of sensory information and prior knowledge during perceptual statistical (Bayesian) inference. This hypothesis has gained momentum in recent years, partly because it can be implemented both at the computational level, as in Bayesian perception, and at the level of canonical neural microcircuitry, as in predictive coding. However, empirical investigations have yielded conflicting results with evidence remaining limited.

Objective: To explore the relationship between Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy and maladjustment among psychiatric nursing students.
Method: The results of baseline data, Mental Health Knowledge Questionnaire, Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy scale and Clinical Practice Maladjustment Questionnaire of psychiatric nursing students from January 2022 to August 2023 were obtained from our hospital, and the correlation of scores was examined through Pearson correlation analysis. The factors affecting psychiatric nursing students' maladjustment were analyzed through logistic regression analysis.

Aims: Clinical high-risk for psychosis (CHR-P) states exhibit diverse clinical presentations, prompting a shift towards broader outcome assessments beyond psychosis manifestation. To elucidate more uniform clinical profiles and their trajectories, we investigated CHR-P profiles in a community sample.
Methods: Participants ( = 829; baseline age: 16-40 years) comprised individuals from a Swiss community sample who were followed up over roughly 3 years.

Objective: This study evaluated the effectiveness of an AI-based tool (ChatGPT-4) (AIT) vs a human tutor (HT) in providing feedback on dental students' assignments.
Methods: A total of 194 answers to two histology questions were assessed by both tutors using the same rubric. Students compared feedback from both tutors and evaluated its accuracy against a standard rubric.

The use of literal prompts (LPs) and inferential prompts (IPs) in shared book reading (SBR) facilitates children's use of language and promotes their thinking and understanding about the stories discussed and beyond. Furthermore, SBR provides a platform for mildly autistic children to have multiple rounds of communication with educators. This study investigated the contribution of LPs and IPs on the language development and affective factors of language learning in mildly autistic children.
