Methyl 1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxyl-ate.

Acta Crystallogr Sect E Struct Rep Online

Published: January 2009

The title compound, C(4)H(5)N(3)O(2), features an essentially planar mol-ecule (r.m.s. deviation for all non-H atoms = 0.013 Å). The crystal structure is stabilized by inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking inter-actions (centroid-centroid distance 3.882 Å).

Despite significant advances in HIV treatment, a definitive cure remains elusive. The first-in-human clinical trial of Excision BioTherapeutics' CRISPR-based HIV cure, EBT-101, demonstrated safety but failed to prevent viral rebound. These outcomes may result from the interplay of several factors.

Background: X chromosome inactivation (XCI) is a female-specific process in which one X chromosome is silenced to balance X-linked gene expression between the sexes. XCI is initiated in early development by upregulation of the lncRNA Xist on the future inactive X (Xi). A subset of X-linked genes escape silencing and thus have higher expression in females, suggesting female-specific functions.

Background: During the latter stages of their development, mammalian oocytes under dramatic chromatin reconfiguration, transitioning from a non-surrounded nucleolus (NSN) to a surrounded nucleolus (SN) stage, and concomitant transcriptional silencing. Although the NSN-SN transition is known to be essential for developmental competence of the oocyte, less is known about the accompanying molecular changes. Here we examine the changes in the transcriptome and DNA methylation during the NSN to SN transition in mouse oocytes.

In this study, new cinnamic acid linked to triazole acetamide derivatives was synthesized and evaluated for anti-Alzheimer and anti-melanogenesis activities. The structural elucidation of all analogs was performed using different analytical techniques, including H-NMR, C-NMR, mass spectrometry, and IR spectroscopy. The synthesized compounds were assessed in vitro for their inhibitory activities against acetylcholinesterase (AChE), butyrylcholinesterase (BChE), and tyrosinase enzymes.

Sleep deprivation (SD) impairs learning and memory. Investigating the role of epigenetic modifications, such as 5-methylcytosine (mC), in SD is crucial. This study established an SD mouse model and assessed the mRNA levels of mC-related genes in brain tissue to identify potential candidates.
