The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [RuCl(C(10)H(14))(C(17)H(19)O(2))], contains two diastereomers. In both, the Ru(II) ion has a tetra-hedral coordination, formed by two O atoms of the camphor-derived ligand and the p-cymene and Cl ligands. In the crystal structure, weak inter-molecular C-H⋯Cl inter-actions link the mol-ecules into columns propagated along [010].

This study aims to understand the impact of backpack carriage, a regular activity for many, on back muscles and joint mobility during walking so that clinicians can develop strategies or products to ensure individuals' safety and well-being. Surface electromyography (EMG) and XSENS Awinda motion capture systems were used to analyze the effects of carrying a backpack (12% of body weight) on erector spinae and multifidus muscles, as well as spinal, hip, knee, and ankle joints. Subjects walked at 4 km/h on flat and inclined surfaces.

Background: Large palatine tonsils cause a variety of symptoms including obstructive sleep apnea and snoring. In adults, the prevalence of tonsillar hypertrophy remains uncertain.
Aims: We estimated the incidence of tonsillectomy for adult palatine tonsillar hypertrophy using population data and retrospective patient charts.

We report nonadiabatic dynamics computations on CH initiated on a coherent superposition of the five lowest cationic states, employing the Quantum Ehrenfest method. In addition to the totally symmetric carbon-carbon double bond stretch and carbon-hydrogen stretches, we see that the three non-totally symmetric modes become stimulated; torsion and three different CH stretching patterns. Thus, a coherent superposition of states, of the type involved in an attochemistry experiment, leads to the stimulation of specific non-totally symmetric motions.

Burn care and treatment differ markedly from other types of wounds, as they are significantly more prone to infections and struggle to maintain fluid balance post-burn. Moreover, the limited self-healing abilities exacerbate the likelihood of scar formation, further complicating the recovery process. To tackle these issues, an asymmetric wound dressing comprising a quercetin-loaded poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-4-hydroxybutyrate) (P34HB@Qu) hydrophilic layer and a zinc oxide nanoparticle-loaded, thermally treated polyvinylidene fluoride (HPVDF@ZnO) hydrophobic layer is designed.

A synergistic photoredox/cobalt/chromium triple catalysis system for regioselective, enantioselective, and diastereoselective 1,4-hydrocarbonation of readily available 1,3-enyne precursors was explored, providing a modular synthetic platform for various trisubstituted axially chiral allenes bearing an extra central chirality. The protocol features a broad substrate scope, good functional group tolerance, excellent selectivity, and mild reaction conditions. Furthermore, a possible reaction mechanism is proposed based on numerous control experiments and density functional theory calculations.
