The title compound, (C(8)H(20)N)(2)[Cu(2)Mo(2)(C(2)H(4)S(2))(2)(CN)(2)S(4)], is a sulfide-bridged tetranuclear complex in which the complex anion comprises one [(edt)(2)Mo(2)S(2)(μ-S)(2)](2-) unit (edt = ethanedithiol-ate) and two CuCN units joined through six Cu-μ(3)-S bonds, thus forming a cubane-like [Mo(2)S(4)Cu(2)] core. There are two independent cation-anion complex entities in the asymmetric unit. Bond distances are normal for this type of complex [ranges: Mo-S = 2.193 (2)-2.390 (2); Cu-S = 2.266 (2)-2.470 (2); Cu-C = 1.899 (7)-1.911 (9) Å]. One of the thiol-ato C atoms is disordered over two sites in a 0.52 (3):0.48 (3) ratio.

High-performance, self-driven photodetectors in commercial and public applications show promising prospects. The pyro-phototronic effect is a promising method for building these detectors, but limitations in interfacial contact conditions hinder the use of the ferro-pyro-phototronic effect. By modifying the surface of 1D@3D perovskite ferroelectric film with tetra-ethyl ammonium (TEAI) molecules, the interfacial defect density is reduced, resulting in a high-performance, stable photodetector.

The title compound, tetra-ethyl-ammonium tri-azido-tri-μ-sulfido-[μ-(tri-methyl-sil-yl)aza-nediido][tris-(3,5-di-methyl-pyrazol-1-yl)hydro-borato]triiron(+2.33)molybdenum(IV), (CHN)[FeMoS(CHBN)(CHNSi)(N)] or (EtN)[(Tp*)MoFeS(μ-NSiMe)(N)] [Tp* = tris-(3,5-di-methyl-pyrazol-1-yl)hydro-bor-ate(1-)], crystallizes as needle-like black crystals in space group . In this cluster, the Mo site is in a distorted octa-hedral coordination model, coordinating three N atoms on the Tp* ligand and three μ-bridging S atoms in the core.

The crystal structure of the tetra-ethyl-ammonium salt of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug nimesulide (polymorph II) (systematic name: tetra-ethyl-ammonium -methane-sulfonyl-4-nitro-2-phen-oxy-anilinide), CHN·CHNOS, was determined using single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The title compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group 2/ with one tetra-ethyl-ammonium cation and one nimesulide anion in the asymmetric unit. In the crystal, the ions are linked by C-H⋯N and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C-H⋯π inter-actions.

Ion channels in fishes regulate the flow of important ions that play an active role in the excitation and transmission of impulses through neuronal cells. Specific housekeeping genes translates into proteins and selectively permeabilize and facilitate ion crossover transmissions. Potassium (K) channels play a crucial role in a wide range of functions such as cell volume regulation, hormone secretion, synaptic transmission and muscle contraction.

April 2023

Electroanalytical Chemistry Research Laboratory, Department of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, University of Mazandaran, Babolsar, Iran.

In this project, a three-dimensional graphene oxide coated agarose/chitosan (ACGO) porous film was synthesized and utilized as sorbent in thin film microextraction (TFME) technique to extract 4-chlorophenol, 2,4-dichlorophenol, 3,5-dichlorophenol and 2,4,6-trichlorophenol as the model analytes in various real samples such as agricultural waste water, honey and tea samples. In addition, deep eutectic solvent made of tetra ethyl ammonium chloride/chlorine chloride was used as a desorption solvent. The effect of various variables, such as: extraction time, stirring rate, solvent desorption volume, desorption time, ionic strength and solution pH on the extraction efficiency of the method was studied and optimized.
