In the title compound, [Rh(C(13)H(16)NO)(C(18)H(15)P)(CO)], the coordination geometry of the Rh(I) atom is square-planar, formed by the coordinating N and O atoms of the bidentate enaminoketonate ligand, one C atom from the carbonyl group and a P atom from triphenyl-phosphine. The complex displays a 0.591 (3):0.409 (3) ratio disorder of the phenyl unit of the monoanionic N,O-bidentate ligand. Intra-molecular hydrogen bonding is observed between a C-H group of the triphenyl-phosphine unit and the O atom of the enamino-ketonate ligand.

The title compound, CHNO ·Cl, was prepared as a racemate of ,- and ,-enanti-omers by reduction of the corresponding hy-droxy-imino-ketone. In the crystal, layers are formed hydrogen bridges of four ammonium groups to chloride ions; these lamellae are connected inter-digitated benzoic ester groups.

The title di-thio-carbazate imine, CHNOS, was obtained from the condensation reaction of -methyl-dithio-carbazate (SMDTC) and 5-methyl-isatin. It shows a configuration about the imine C=N bond, which is associated with an intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond that closes an (6) ring. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairwise N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds generate (8) loops.

The title mol-ecule, CHNO, is a methyl carbamate derivative obtained by reacting ()-2-phenyl-glycinol and methyl chloro-formate, with calcium hydroxide as heterogeneous catalyst. Supra-molecular chains are formed in the [100] direction, based on N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds between the amide and carboxyl-ate groups. These chains weakly inter-act in the crystal, and the phenyl rings do not display significant π-π inter-actions.

The title compound, CHNO·2CHO, representing a bis-urea with terminal phenyl-alanine units, crystallized with two tetra-hydro-furan (THF) mol-ecules. The main mol-ecule is located on a crystallographic twofold axis, while the solvent mol-ecule is disordered over two positions, with occupancies of 0.571 (15) and 0.

The title compound, 2,6-di-bromo-3,4,5-tri-meth-oxy-benzoic acid (DBrTMBA), CHBrO, was obtained by bromination and transhalogenation of 2-iodo-3,4,5-tri-meth-oxy-benzoic acid with KBrO. Like the previously reported 2,6-di-iodo-3,4,5-tri-meth-oxy-benzoic acid (DITMBA), the structure of the title compound features a catemeric arrangement of DBrTMBA mol-ecules along an endless chain of carb-oxy-lic H-carbonyl inter-actions. A short carbon-yl-phenyl contact hints at a possible lone pair(O)-π-hole inter-action further stabilizing the chain-like structure over a dimeric arrangement of the carb-oxy-lic acid.
