The proliferation indices of immunohistochemically detected bromodeoxyuridine, Ki-67 antigen (antibodies Ki-67 and MIB 1), and proliferating cell nuclear antigen were determined manually and with computer assisted morphometry in 38 gliomas, 29 meningeomas, 9 metastases, and 16 other tumors. Comparing the markers among one another the highest correlation coefficient was found for bromodeoxyuridine and MIB 1 (0.9). The proliferation indices of all markers correlated significantly with the tumor grading. The highest correlation coefficient for proliferation index and grading (0.7) was calculated for the MIB 1 index determined in one high power field (0.0153 mm(2)) in the tissue area with the highest proliferative activity. Concerning applicability and correlation with tumor dignity MIB 1 was superior to the other three antibodies investigated.

Purpose: Surface Guided Radiation Treatment (SGRT) is a new method of positioning and monitoring patients on the linear accelerator's couch, using visual light cameras to monitor the skin's surface. The purpose of this study was to compare the SGRT with the conventional method, based on lasers and tattoos, in terms of accuracy and time expenditure, on patients with pelvic malignancies.
Materials And Methods: A group of 34 patients were enrolled in this study, 24 males who underwent radiotherapy prostate treatment and 10 females who underwent gynecological radiation therapy.
Introduction: A pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour (NET) originates from the neuroendocrine cells responsible for producing and releasing hormones. They are uncommon findings, mainly seen arising from the head of the pancreas and their appearances may vary among different imaging modalities.
Case Report: Interesting case of an asymptomatic patient with an incidental finding of a pancreatic lesion and its variable appearances across different modalities and final histology findings.

Case Summary: A 13-year-old male castrated domestic shorthair cat presented with a 2-month history of progressive lameness, poor appetite and constipation. Physical examination revealed palpable lesions in muscles of several extremities. Ultrasound examination confirmed the presence of round lesions with a hypo- or anechoic centre within the muscles.

Background: The correlation between fibrinogen levels and adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) remains unclear. This study aimed to explore the value of preoperative plasma fibrinogen as a biomarker for ACC.
Methods: We identified 40 patients with ACC and 170 patients with adrenal adenoma (AA) who underwent surgery at our institution between 2015 and 2022.

Background: Serum Cystatin S (CST4), a secretory protein that inhibits cellular matrix degradation, significantly influences the tumor microenvironment and tumor progression. However, the prognostic value of serum CST4 in gastric cancer (GC) remains unclear. This study aims to explore serum CST4's utility in GC prognostic assessment.
