Purpose: The objective of this paper is to present a framework for systematically describing different approaches to measure environmental factors (EF) and to discuss some strengths and weaknesses of these approaches.
Methods: Identification of suitable criteria for ordering measurements of EF was based on an analysis of existing reviews, a qualitative literature review and feedback from experts. Items of selected EF measures were linked to the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health.
Results: Experimental and observational designs for the study of EF are distinguished and illustrated with examples. Approaches to study EF are differentiated into those directly measuring an environmental interaction with function and those relying on an independent assessment of environmental features. By applying these criteria, a three-dimensional matrix framework for measurement of EF in observational studies is developed.
Conclusion: The acknowledgement of different measurement approaches to the scientific study of EF is one pathway towards an increased understanding of the connection between environments and functioning. Many different measures may be used to approximate the realities of disabling or enabling environments. This review provides an initial framework for improving our fundamental comprehension of the complexity of the measurement of EF in the context of human health and disability.

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Dendrobium officinale in the treatment of radiotherapy-induced oral mucositis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients, and to explore its regulating effect on immune function and oral microbiota by comparing immune-related factors and oral microbiota before and after the intervention.
Methods: We conducted a randomized double-blinded controlled trial in Zhejiang Cancer Hospital. Sixty patients with nasopharyngeal cancer combined with radiotherapy-induced oral mucositis were randomly divided into a study group and control group, with 30 cases in each group The study group used compound vitamin B12 solution and Dendrobium tea drink, and the control group simply used compound vitamin B12 solution rinse.

Background: Psychological flourishing is a component of positive mental health that characterizes the lives of nursing and health technology students, despite the stressful situations they experience during this training. The objective of this study is to evaluate psychological flourishing and to put the thumb on its importance in the training of nursing and health technique students.
Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive-analytical study was conducted at the two higher institutes of nursing and health technical professions in Fez and Rabat between 1 March and 30 March 2022, using a questionnaire containing socio-demographic characteristics, training characteristics, a perceived stress scale (PSS10) and a psychological flourishing scale.

Grasslands account for about a quarter of the Earth's land area and are one of the major terrestrial ecosystems, with significant ecological and economic values. The influence of environmental factors and management types on grassland biodiversity has garnered considerable attention. This study investigated how patterns of species richness are influenced by geographical distance, environmental gradients, and management type in the moist mountain grasslands of northeastern Yunnan, China.
