Detecting brain tumours (BT) early improves treatment possibilities and increases patient survival rates. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanning offers more comprehensive information, such as better contrast and clarity, than any alternative scanning process. Manually separating BTs from several MRI images gathered in medical practice for cancer analysis is challenging and time-consuming.

There are many good reasons to improve the anatomy of a distal radius fracture, such as early return to function and avoidance of sigmoid notch incongruity or ulnocarpal impaction. It is often feared by patients, and portrayed by some authors of scientific articles and medicolegal reports, that a fracture of the distal radius has a propensity to cause symptomatic osteoarthritis. This article examines some of the current evidence and shares the authors' experience.

Background: Kirner deformity is a rare anomaly of the little finger in adolescents, characterized by a deformity of the distal phalanx and a radiologically L-shaped epiphysis, along with palmar and radial angulation of the distal phalanx. Due to the rarity of these pathological findings, there are no systematic literature reviews available. This work serves as an overview of the clinical presentation, frequency and age distributions, as well as possible conservative and surgical treatment options.

Nanoparticles have gained attention as drug delivery vehicles for cancer treatment, but often struggle with poor tumor accumulation and penetration. Single external magnets can enhance magnetic nanoparticle delivery but are limited to superficial tumors due to the rapid decline in the magnetic field strength with distance. We previously showed that a 2-magnet device could extend targeting to greater tissue depths.

Background: Training occupational therapy students in manual skills such as goniometry typically requires intensive one on one student teacher interactions and repetitive practice to ensure competency. There is evidence that immersive virtual reality (IVR) supported embodied learning can improve confidence and performance of skills. Embodied learning refers to learner's experience of viewing a simulated body and its properties as if they were the learner's own biological body.
