Acute myeloid leukemia is a cancer involving uncontrolled proliferation of hematopoietic cells. Cutaneous involvement is referred to as leukemia cutis (LC). The histopathologic presentation of LC is variable, and may present with perivascular, periadnexal, dermal, or subcutaneous infiltrate.

This study reports on an extremely rare case of non-traumatic atlantoaxial rotatory fixation (AARF) in an adult. Although there are numerous reports on traumatic AARF in adults, those on non-traumatic AARFs are limited. We present the case of a 25-year-old woman who developed neck pain with a limited range of motion (ROM) that began upon waking without any particular inducement.

Background: Amyloidosis is a multi-organ disease of emerging significance in the field of cardiology. Chylothorax, a specific form of pleural effusion characterized by lymphatic fluid accumulation in the pleural cavity, is an extremely rare manifestation of amyloidosis. Notably, only five cases of chylothorax related to cardiac amyloidosis have been reported worldwide, all in amyloid light chain (AL) amyloidosis.
