This cross-sectional study aimed to estimate the seroprevalence and the potential risk factors of Brucella infection among goats in family farms in the southern east of Algeria. A total of 196 sera samples were randomly collected from 59 family farms and tested in parallel by Rose Bengal test (RBT) and indirect ELISA (iELISA). A structured questionnaire was used to collect information on potential risk factors.

This study aims to describe and analyze all methods of identifying the presence of the microsporidian in a rabbit through antemortem and postmortem methods. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between cutaneous microcirculation reactivity, retinal circulation, macrocirculation function, and specific adhesion molecules in young patients with uncomplicated type 1 diabetes. Fifty-five patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM), aged 8 to 18 years, were divided into subgroups based on skin microcirculation reactivity. The cutaneous microcirculatory vessels were considered reactive if post-test PORH coverage increased compared to pre-test coverage.

Objective: To determine the positive predictive value (PPV) of CSF John Cunningham virus (JCV) quantitative PCR (qPCR) for progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML), and highlight neuroimaging findings reported to be suggestive of this disease.
Methods: We reviewed patients at London Health Sciences Centre with a positive CSF JCV qPCR result. Patients were classified as true-positive if they had a clinico-radiographic presentation compatible with PML and no more likely alternative diagnosis.
