Introduction: The purpose of this study was to investigate the morphology and distribution characteristics of fat globules in osteomyelitis on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Materials And Methods: Patients with pathologically-confirmed osteomyelitis and MRI scans were retrospectively enrolled, and fat globules on the MRI images were analyzed.
Results: Among 103 patients with non-traumatic osteomyelitis, 75 were fat globule negative and 28 were positive.

The proportion of older imprisoned persons is dramatically increasing worldwide, and they are likely to have greater physical and mental health needs compared to younger persons in prisons. The number of people aged 50 and over entering the criminal justice system (CJS) in England and Wales is growing. This raises questions as to the suitability of the CJS to equitably accommodate individuals with complex illness or impairment, who might experience difficulties in cognitive function, frailty, and/or impaired mobility. Findings from the government, the third sector, and academic literature have highlighted the difficulties experienced by older adults in the CJS and those tasked with supporting them.

Background: Although abortion was completely decriminalized in Canada 36 years ago, barriers to pregnancy prevention and termination persist across the country, such as travel and information gaps. Research demonstrates incarcerated people face barriers to family planning care, yet there is no systematic data collection of sexual and reproductive health experiences and outcomes among incarcerated people in Canada. The aim of this study was to explore family planning care experiences among women and gender diverse people who have experienced incarceration in Canada.
