The hepatitis A-seropositivity rate for children born in France is very low: 0 of 81 born to two French-born parents and 5 of 126 (4 %) infants for whom at least one parent was born in an endemic area. In contrast, the rate was high (28.8 %, 17/59) for children born in an endemic area. Hence, recommendations to vaccinate children who could be exposed during overseas trips to visit family or by visiting family members coming from endemic areas are fully justified.

Background: Avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) is a feeding and eating disorder characterized by extremely restricted dietary variety and/or quantity resulting in serious consequences for physical health and psychosocial functioning. Here, we examined NDCs and psychiatric conditions in a large, population-based group of children with ARFID.

Apnea is a major complication of acute respiratory tract infection in young infants and may lead to the need for ventilatory support. Caffeine is methylxanthine, which is considered the mainstay of pharmacologic treatment for apnea of prematurity. On the basis of neonatal guidelines, caffeine has been used as a respiratory stimulant for the treatment of acute respiratory tract infection-related apnea, despite low evidence of its ability to improve clinical outcomes.
