More than one-third of out-patient physicians (36.8%) do not believe in the possibility of realizing the programme of overall dispensarization. 32.1 percent of physicians think themselves trained enough to carry out dispensarization. The majority of the interviewed (70.3%) got their basic training on dispensarization issues on the job, 37.1 percent at the courses of advanced training and only 7.2% during resident training. 71.9% of physicians are acquainted with methodological instructions concerning dispensarization.

In recent years, regulatory authorities have signaled a willingness to consider real-world evidence (RWE) data to support applications for new claims and indications for pharmaceuticals. Historically, RWE studies have been the domain of prescription drugs, driven by the fact that clinical data on patients are routinely captured in medical records, claims databases, registries, etc. However, RWE reports of nonprescription drugs and supplements are relatively sparse due to methodological gaps in this area.

Background: The Somali region in Ethiopia has poor health infrastructure, coupled with the adversity experienced by the largely pastoralist population through frequent droughts, disease outbreaks and conflict. From January 2019, MSF strategically focused on improving access to primary healthcare in the Doolo zone of the Somali region by providing 15-20 mobile clinics covering a wide geographical area. Methods: We conduced semi-structured interviews with HCPs working in oncology. Interviews were audio-recorded, transcribed verbatim and analyzed using Kuckartz's method for qualitative content analysis.
