- The ethyl acetate extract from the endophytic fungus Aspergillus terreus found in Artemisia arborescens L. led to the discovery of five new compounds, asperterreunolides A-E, along with a known metabolite, butyrolactone IV.
- Using advanced spectroscopic techniques, the researchers determined the structures and the absolute configurations of these metabolites.
- All isolated compounds exhibited significant cytotoxic effects against certain cancer cell lines, and molecular docking studies suggested their potential mechanism of action as inhibitors of type IIA topoisomerase.

Research has developed the Big-Five Aspect Scale (BFAS), supporting a five-domain model that includes 10 related aspects. In Arabic societies, there is currently a lack of validation evidence for a scale with these 10 aspects. Thus, this study develops and examines the psychometric properties of the short version of the BFAS (BFAS-SV) within Libyan Arab adults.

Establishing a proper soft tissue adhesion around the implant abutment is essential to prevent microbial invasion, inhibit epithelial downgrowth, and obtain an optimal healing process. This systematic review aims to evaluate the real potential of TiO coating on the behavior of peri-implant soft tissue health and maintenance. A specific aim was to evaluate clinically and histologically the effect of TiO abutment coating on epithelial and connective tissue attachment.

In this study, gamma dose rates generated from the naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM) were measured in the waste streams of a large scale and sludge onshore petroleum operations. Measurements conducted in this work involved: sludge recovery from separation tanks, sludge forming, NORM storage, scaling in oil tubulars, scaling in gas production and sedimentation in produced water evaporation ponds. Field work was carried out in many places of different terrain of an operation oil exploration and production in Murzuq basin in the Southwest of Libya.
