Background: In 2006 there were more than 10,000 people working in artistic ceramics industries in Italy. The jobs in these industries that attracted most attention were work at the potter's wheel and decorating.
Objectives: To test the premapping of risks data sheet in these enterprises.
Methods: We tested the data sheet in 3 craft industries: one was mainly artistic, one had a semi-industrial setting and in the third jobs were non-specific.
Results: In the semi-industrial craft industry the risks for potter's wheel workers were higher due to the repetitive movements required and to work organization aimed at achieving maximum productivity.
Conclusions: The premapping of risks data sheet is a very sensitive tool. It can sometimes overestimate the risks, but in this way identifies situations that call for more in-depth analysis using tools that comply with international standards.

Understanding the sheet resistance of porous electrodes is essential for improving the performance of polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) water electrolyzers and related technologies. Despite its importance, existing methods often fail to provide reliable and comprehensive data, especially for porous materials with complex morphologies and non-uniform thicknesses. This study introduces a robust and straightforward method for determining the sheet resistance of porous electrodes using a novel probe concept based on industrial printed circuit board (PCB) technology.

Degradation data, biological and tests are of major importance in particular for complex alloys, in which the individual element additions could enhance material performance and add functionalities. In this study, a novel Fe-Mn-Si-Cu alloy was carefully designed for vascular and blood-contact applications, and its microstructure, mechanical behavior, degradation behavior and biological performances were investigated accordingly.

Introduction Trauma is the leading cause of death for individuals under 45 in the United States (US), with significant disparities in outcomes among minority groups. Latinos, the largest ethnic minority in the US, often face barriers to optimal trauma care that may require additional resources. This study aimed to compare trauma outcomes for Latino patients treated at Level I versus Level II/III trauma centers (TCs).

Aims/hypothesis: UK standard care for type 2 diabetes is structured diabetes education, with no effects on HbA, small, short-term effects on weight and low uptake. We evaluated whether remotely delivered tailored diabetes education combined with commercial behavioural weight management is cost-effective compared with current standard care in helping people with type 2 diabetes to lower their blood glucose, lose weight, achieve remission and improve cardiovascular risk factors.
Methods: We conducted a pragmatic, randomised, parallel two-group trial.

E-point septal separation (EPSS) and tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion (TAPSE) are M-mode measures of left and right ventricular systolic function, with limited pediatric point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) research. We conducted a cross-sectional study in a pediatric emergency department, enrolling 12-17-year-olds without cardiopulmonary complaints. Exclusion criteria included abnormal vital signs, fever, altered mental status, or psychiatric illness.
