Objective: The primary objective is to describe limb salvage and patency rates of infra-genicular bypasses using plantar artery as a distal target. The secondary objective is to compare outcomes between bypasses to the plantar artery and those to other tibial arteries.
Methods: Retrospective cohort study of all consecutive patients who underwent infra-genicular bypasses using autologous venous conduit from July 2012 to June 2018.
Purpose: Investigate intra- and post-operative complications and revisions following distal femoral and/or high tibial derotational osteotomies to correct rotational malalignments of the lower limb in patients with anterior knee pain (AKP) and/or patellofemoral instability (PFI).
Methods: A literature search was conducted on PubMed, EMBASE and Web of Science (until 30 September 2023), including studies reporting complications, reinterventions and revisions following knee derotational osteotomies. Incidence rates were collected for each level of derotational osteotomy (distal femur, high tibia or double-level).

Context: Inflamed nerve root leads to mechano-sensitization and upregulation of sodium channels in nerve endings far distal to the site of inflammation, leading to tenderness of these nerve endings. Due to pseudounipolar nature, the blockade of sodium channels at peripheral nerve endings leads to relief in radicular pain.
Aims: The aim of this study was to assess the efficacy of bupivacaine in improving pain and straight leg raising test (SLRT), 30 min after injection around tender nerves near the ankle, in patients with unilateral radicular pain.

Background: Peroneal artery injury following internal fixation of a calcaneal fracture is rare. The occurrence of a delayed pseudoaneurysm with an arteriovenous fistula after a peroneal artery injury is even rarer and has not been reported previously.
Case Summary: Herein, we report the case of a 65-year-old female patient with a calcaneal fracture (Sanders Type ⅢAB) who underwent an open reduction and internal fixation surgery through the tarsal sinus approach.

The peroneal artery perforator flap is widely used to repair deep defects in the distal lower leg and ankle. However, the success of flap transplantation depends on the accurate location of the peroneal artery perforators, which can be a challenge due to potential vascular damage and anatomical variations. This study utilizes digital subtraction angiography and high-frequency ultrasound to clarify the anatomical features of the peroneal artery and its perforators and accurately locate these perforators, thereby improving preoperative design and clinical outcomes.
