This article investigates the effect of adult children leaving the parental home on parental well-being. Adult children moving out is an important event in parents' lives. However, it is theoretically unclear whether parental well-being decreases or increases from children moving out.

The well-being of health care workers (HCWs) and the public in Ontario, Canada is at risk as the province's health care system is strained by neoliberal restructuring and an aging population. Deteriorating working conditions that preceded the COVID-19 pandemic further declined as the added challenges took their toll on the work force, physically and mentally. The pandemic-weary hospital staff, predominantly women, many racialized, are facing unprecedented challenges.

Ageing populations globally are associated with increased musculoskeletal disease, including osteoporosis and sarcopenia. These conditions place a significant burden of disease on the individual, society and the economy. To address this, we need to understand the underpinning biological changes, including stem cell exhaustion, which plays a key role in the ageing of the musculoskeletal system.

Understanding the relationship between footwear features and their potential influence on running performance can inform the ongoing innovation of running footwear, aimed at pushing the limits of humans. A notable shoe feature is hollow structures, where an empty space is created in the midsole. Presently, the potential biomechanical effect of the hollow structures on running performance remains unknown.
