Objective: To investigate pregnancy outcomes in women after abdominal radical trachelectomy (RT) for early-stage cervical cancer.
Methods: The patients' background, fertility, and pregnancy outcomes were reviewed in a total of 61 pregnancies in 48 of 172 women who underwent abdominal RT at Keio University Hospital between September 2002 and December 2013.
Results: There were 5 women with stage IA1, 2 with stage IA2, and 41 with stage IB1.

Objective: To assess the obstetric outcomes of our total laparoscopic radical trachelectomy (TLRT) cases for early stage cervical cancer.
Materials And Methods: A total of 56 patients who underwent TLRT between December 2001 and August 2012 were reviewed retrospectively using clinicopathological, surgical, and follow-up data from patients' medical records.
Results: We performed this operation on 56 patients during the study period.

Mucoepidermoid carcinoma is a relatively common neoplasm of the major and minor salivary glands that can secondarily involve skin. In the vicinity of the ear lobe, mimicry of a benign cyst, both clinically and histopathologically is a diagnostic pitfall to avoid. The clinical manifestations, diagnostic histopathology, and clinical course of mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the parotid gland presenting as a clinically benign periauricular cystic nodule in four patients ranging in age from 11 to 63 years, are analyzed in the present report.

A 58-year-old female patient presented with the sudden onset of left upper quadrant pain. The physical examination revealed the presence of shock status. Abdominal computed tomography revealed splenomegaly with a huge mass inside the spleen, and massive fluid collection in the abdominal cavity.
