Interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) is an important cytokine associated with antitumor immunity and has been implicated in the pathogenesis and progression of lung cancer. Nevertheless, no bibliometric analyses have been published in this field to date, and thus we aim to address this gap in knowledge. A search of the Web of Science (WOS) for literature related to the treatment of lung cancer with IFN-γ was conducted from 2002 to 2024.

Background: Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a significant preventable cause of postoperative morbidity and mortality after major abdominopelvic surgery that calls for extended VTE prophylaxis (eVTEp). Literature suggests that significant racial disparities may exist in post-operative care.
Objective: The study sought to examine if racial disparities exist in the administration of eVTEp after hysterectomy in a statewide collaborative.

Objective: We investigated associations between per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and changes in diabetes indicators from pregnancy to 12 years after delivery among women with a history of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).
Research Design And Methods: Eighty Hispanic women with GDM history were followed from the third trimester of pregnancy to 12 years after delivery. Oral and intravenous glucose tolerance tests were conducted during follow-up.

Background: Cancer cachexia in breast cancer (BC) patients is not commonly reported, particularly in Indonesia. This study assessed the prevalence of cachexia in local patients with BC receiving chemotherapy, and the associated factors.
Methods: This cross-sectional study included 160 BC patients who started chemotherapy between July 2018 and June 2022.

The fate and degradation of organic matter in aquatic systems is a vital link in nutrient cycling and sedimentation processes influenced by exogenous and endogenous factors, such as inputs from upstream sources, sediment suspension, and the decomposition of aquatic organisms. The interplay of organic carbon, microbes, and environmental factors shapes the distribution and degradation of organic matter. Characterizing the source distribution of sedimentary organic matter in aquatic systems using novel proxies can unravel new insights into the mechanisms that control its dispersal, preservation and fate, which is essential to understanding the global carbon and nitrogen cycles.
